A Few Reasons Why Lisbon Is The Chosen One
1. The weather in Lisbon in June is purrrrfect. We're expecting an average temperature of 21 degrees, with highs up to 26.
2. The freshest seafood at your fingertips along with locally-made red wine, plus all the custard-filled pastries you could eat.
3. Carcavelos and Costa da Caparica are just two of the many beautiful, surf-friendly beaches surrounding the city.
4. Lisbon is an architectural wonder with its castles and pastel-colored buildings. Your eyes will never be hungry for something cool to look at (or photograph for your 'gram).
5. Legend has it that Lisbon was born like Rome – between seven hills. It's a hilly city (think: San Francisco vibes) with viewpoints galore, and a rockin' trolley system to boot.
6. As far as Europe goes, Lisbon is a hot digital nomad hub. It's home to many tech companies and startups, and is host to the annual Web Summit conference.
7. Why is it such a hotbed for tech? Affordability. The cost of living in Lisbon is relatively low compared to the rest of Europe, and same goes for tourists visiting just for a week. 😉
8. The Lisbon airport is a main hub for getting in and out of Europe. That means, no matter where in the world you're flying in from, you should be able to find a fairly direct flight path.
